Storie goes the distance

Trevor Storie (Heartland CC)) did it all for Huntington North on Tuesday. The Heartland bound Senior pitched a three hitter and also hit a home run in the Vikings 5-1 win over Class 3A #1 ranked Norwell.

It was an early-season showdown of a pair of teams that could make a push toward Victory Field in Indianapolis, yearly site of the state finals. Both entered with 6-0 records, with Norwell as the No. 1-ranked team in Class 3A, and Huntington North ranked No. 3 in 4A.

On the mound, Storie stuck out 11. At the plate, he was also 3-4 with a Home Run.
